Today Buyers have a choice how a Realtor works for them. In the past, Realtors only represented the sellers or site Realtors at new home sites represented the builder. Now buyers may have the Realtor represent them in the purchase of a resale or new home. A seller will still pay the agent (because the sellers still want their home sold regardless of who the agent represents). However, the Buyer Agent has the freedom to share all known information with the Buyer and to assist them in getting the best value regardless of the interest of the sellers.
